Bob is focused on helping retirement plan sponsors work toward reducing fiduciary risks and administrative burdens. His mission is to get employees on a path to become retirement ready so they can retire with confidence.
Bob is responsible for the operational and strategic direction of the firm. He shares responsibility for the oversight and development of the Business Services Group with Michelle Cannan.
Bob has spent over 30 years in the retirement plan industry. Before joining Beltz Ianni & Associates he was the President of EPIC Advisors, Inc. In his role at EPIC, he was responsible for oversight of $5 billion in assets under administration, over 1,300 retirement plans, and over 100,000 participants. Before EPIC, Bob provided consulting services to banks with regards to their retirement plan services and product offering across the United States. He also worked for M&T Bank and was in charge of their 401(k) product.
Bob holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation awarded by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits, as well as the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA™) credential from the National Association of Plan Advisors. He has a BS Degree from the State University of New York.
